This romantic Mahagastotte Valley produces a light-bodied tea with an aromatic bouquet which is the Champagne of Ceylon Tea. The tea gardens of this valley are located at an elevation of 1,500 to 1,900 metres above mean sea level around the picturesque mountains of Ceylon . The unique flavour and bouquet of the tea can be attributed to the chilly nights where the average temperature drops to a mere 50 F and brilliant sunshine which enriches the tea leaves with nature’s best. Each of these valleys has unique characteristics, being situated in three distinct agro-climatic regions. Within these valleys lie six of our choicest tea gardens, each steeped in a long heritage of producing Ceylon's finest teas.
